Occasionally if I'm at work, and have forgotten to bring my big reusable water bottle from home, I'll buy a disposable plastic bottle from the vending machine at work. BUT, if I do so I use it for about a week and just keep refilling it in the water fountains.
At home, I stopped using bottled water a little over a year ago, and instead bought a Brita filter to attach to the faucet. I drink the same amount of water (which is a lot) and am saving a ton of money. I JUST replaced the filter probably 2 months ago, so I got near a year's worth of drinking water for the cost of a $25 filter, as opposed to paying that much a MONTH for bottled water.

I just got a filtering water bottle for our water cooler at home, too. I really would like not to contribute to this:

I don't buy it anymore, but I do drink it. A friend gave us a case recently; once in awhile my kids will forget their Camelbak Better Bottles and there aren't drinking fountains or cups at their ballet school, so I'll buy them a bottle of water next door at the grocery. I just got a filtering water bottle for our water cooler at home, too. I really would like not to contribute to this:

I still drink them when I really am thirsty or in need of water. I ussually just tend to use the same bottle over and over again though instead of buying a new bottle. The water tastes the same to me, its cheaper, and I'm not throwing away a ton of plastic so I ussually just tend to use the same bottle.
