Most days I will eat vegetables - usually as a side at dinner, sometimes lunch.
But of course I'll naturally choose meat or carbs before veg! The taste is almost always better! On their own, veggies are bitter, bland, or repugnant. (ok, I'll acknowledge a few exceptions, maybe). But meats and carbs on the other hand can be sweet, salty, flavorful!
The key for me to being a "grown-up" and eating my veggies (I am in my thirties after all) is finding good recipes to add a lot of garlic and other spices, taking nasty veg and making it rival the best carb-loaded foods!
