Hi @whinneyme ;)
I just wanted to let you know that this site is called Mahalo and the "Dr. Oz" category does not direct questions to Dr. Oz (who has no affiliation with this site). It is just a question category.
I would suggest that it would be a good idea to see your doctor about your worries, especially as you've been bulimic in the past and now feel that you are eating too much of one type of food.
Also, you've done brilliantly by quitting alcohol and it doesn't matter that I don't know you, I'm still VERY proud of you and realise how difficult it must have been to get through this.
Good luck in your future ;)

Dear Dr. Oz- Love your show! I want to ask an embarrasing question. I recently quit alcohol and now I find myself eating too much sugar.
Please help! I have replaced one addiction with another. I went to an alcohol treatment center to quit and it worked. Now I eat sweets all the time and am afraid I will become overweight and bulimic again. Thank you for your time. Amy
