Hi, In general, wearing a cross training shoe will provide you much better support while exercising than would a traditional running shoe, so you will find that if you have been wearing a running shoe for your training routines, you will be happier with almost any cross trainer.
I don't have scientific proof here, but New Balance athletic shoes are supposed to be excellent for stabilizing overpronation (usually caused by 'flat feet'). http://www.newbalance.com/fitness/
I also found this 'buying' guide at Sierra Trading Post - If you follow the step by step guide you identify your own foot type (in your case the overpronator) then click on the shoes they recommend for your feet. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/lp2/shoe-guide.html

Best Cross Trainers for Flat Feet, Overpronation?
I'm deep into the P90X routine and I do Krav Maga as well. Since I have flat feet, it makes it extremely difficult to push myself with all of the routines to 100% (especially Plyometrics and Legs and Back routine). I have purchased Good Feet supports, which has done wonders for me and my back. I know the Beast by Brooks are good running/walking shoes (which I will get), but I want a cross trainer as well. I heard Ascics Gel 240 are the ones to get. Any suggestions? My feet are as flat as they can get. Thanks for the help!

I've avoided Nike (have had trouble with them myself) and I can recommend from my experience these brands: New Balance, Aasics. I'm not a runner but have purchased athletic shoes over the years for many other reasons - training for team sports, court sports, walking. Hope that is helpful, good luck!
