The holidays seem to be the best time to add to the thighs :( It's also the best time for some really interesting and yummy foods...A big thing that my family has started to incorporate is using Splenda instead of sugar and that alone makes a bit of a difference. My family and I are always looking for new ways of making our favorite foods alot healthier. It's deinfetly a tough thing to do. Especially since my Grandmother is quite the German sweets cook :) Good luck to those trying!

I usually eat lighter in holiday season than during workdays. The reason is I don't spend as much energy and thus don't feel as hungry. Holiday is a perfect time for dieting for me, because I don't need the calories to fuel my energy. I sleep late and therefor I only eat lunch and skip breakfast. The exception is if there is family gatherings or when we eat out.
