Anyone have a good brownie recipe? I want chocolate brownies with chocolate chips or chunks.

Very Chocolate Brownies:

INGREDIENTS

* 2/3 cup butter
* 1 1/2 cups sugar
* 1/4 cup water
* 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 4 eggs
* 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS

1. In a heavy saucepan, bring butter, sugar and water to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat. Stir in 2 cups of chocolate chips until melted; cool slightly. Beat in vanilla. In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs. Gradually add chocolate mixture; mix well. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to chocolate mixture. Stir in remaining chocolate chips. Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.

MMMMM Brownies:

INGREDIENTS

* 1/2 cup white sugar
* 2 tablespoons butter
* 2 tablespoons water
* 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
* 2 eggs
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
* 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch square pan.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, butter and water. Cook over medium heat until boiling. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Mix in the eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the chocolate mixture. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until brownies set up. Do not overbake! Cool in pan and cut into squares.

Chewy Brownie Cookies:

INGREDIENTS

* 2/3 cup shortening
* 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
* 1 tablespoon water
* 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
* 2 eggs
* 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1/3 cup baking cocoa
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
* 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
* 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

DIRECTIONS

1. In a large mixing bowl, cream shortening, sugar, water and vanilla. Beat in eggs. Combine flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture and beat just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts if desired. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F for 7-9 minutes; do not overbake. Cool 2 minutes before removing to wire racks.
