Flash blocker pluggin?

I'm a firefox user and I'm tired of the Flash adds. I'm also conserned about Flash cookies and Flash scripts.
Can someone give me a flash blocker that works like a pop-up blocker. I want to be able to use flash still but I want more control.

I also use the IE and Safari web browsers. It would be good if I could use the same plugin across the web browsers.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

There's a really good one here:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/433

It blocks everything flash but also lets you allow flash (say if you wanted to watch a youtube video).

Btw, if you are concerned about flash cookies, you can actually delete them here:

Wow this is great. I will check out these links when I get home from work. I would deffently love to delete Flash cookies. Does the blocker also block flash scripts. I got a flash script warning on my Mac the other day.

This web article has a good sense and explanation of how to change it. Your two main options are to use a plugin that replaces flash objects with statics, or to disable the flash plugin while browsing the sites you find most annoying.

An amount of control beyond that might be hard to come by, such as activating only the flash objects you want to activate

I will take a look. I'm looking for funtionality like you have in an pop-up blocker. I turn it on and it blocks everything. I can then choose to allow flash on the site I'm on.
