What is your favorite Track event?

I like watching sprint races (100m, 200m, and 400m)

What are your favorite events? Did you compete in these events? How did you perform?

My favorite are the medium distance runs. The 800 or 1,600 meter. I did compete in these in high school, and I remember how incredibly difficult and painful they were.

I like watching the longer runs because you can see people jockeying for position, elbowing others out of the way (legally, of course), slowing down and speeding up when the race calls for it, etc. Great races to watch.

I go to a running club every Thursday afternoon. I am not a professional athlete or anything - but I like athletics and many other sports and I like to stay active.

Personally, I love watching the hurdles and the sprints - but I am a bigger fan of Field events, like the high jump and the discus!

Pole vaulting is an incredible sport to watch. The vaulter's technique can be so fluid and graceful. Today, the world-record pole vault is over 20 feet (6.1 meters).
Did not compete, but love to watch.

I like the 4X100 and 4X400 relays. I think they are exciting to watch because there is a lot at stake and there is a lot of drama.

I used to run track in high school. I was more of a distance runner like 1 mile and 2 mile, but sometimes I would go down to 400m.
