I firmly believe resistance training, or rather weight training is a MUST for fat loss. If I had my choice between 30 minutes of cardio or 30 minutes of weight training, I would take weight training all day long! I used to work out every day with lots of cardio and then do a nautilus circuit. I wondered why my weight was the same. I hired a personal trainer who took me off nautilus and put me on free weights. I dropped pounds and inches quickly and my body was sculpted. I still did cardio, but the majority of my loss was from weight lifting.
