Not sure how many places you can get free running shoes, but your best bet would be checking craigslist.org Just go there, select where you live, and then it will bring you to the listings page. From there, click "free" underneath the "For Sale" heading, and you can scan through there to see if people in your area are giving away free running shoes. Also, you can do a search for "running shoes" in the "Search Craigslist" box, and just make sure the drop down menu has "For Sale" selected. Then you just have to search for running shoes that are free in the results that you get :-) Good luck!
