I work out almost every night but the weight is not dropping much at all. I run for 10 min and do Jack knifes but my stomache. I have been eating less portions and slower chewing. Do you think you can give me some advice

Depending on how fast your run, you might want to up the time you run. Also, you might want to do more intervals in your running.

Instead of "eating less", start looking at your caloric intake. That will give you a better idea of how much or how little or WHAT you eat that might be giving you problems. Sparkpeople is a very good on-line way to track food and exercise.

Since spot changes are not possible, Jacknives alone will not slim your stomach. You might want a more well-rounded exercise program.

From what you said, it sounds like you need to add more cardio and focus on what you're eating as well as just cutting calories. I found a really great article by Men's Health that talks about how to lose your belly. I'll hit the main points here, and for more info you can check out the article:

  1. Cut refined grains and sugar from your diet. This includes junk food like chips and soda, as well as white bread.
  2. Eat a balanced diet including protein, healthy fats, fiber-rich produce and whole grains.
  3. Eat a healthy breakfast every day.
  4. Weight train at least 3 times a week. I know you are focusing on your stomach but lifting weight will build lean muscle mass which will help you burn more calories which means you'll lose more fat. Here's a slideshow of 10 Easy At-Home Workout Moves

  5. Make sure to do cardio, especially intervals (short bursts of intense exertion interspersed with periods of slower activity). You want at least 30 minutes everyday, but the more the better.
  6. Weigh yourself weekly to keep yourself on track.
