There is NO way for you to target the areas in which you lose fat. Not only that, but diet is exponentially more helpful than exercise. Also, the order in which different types of exercise is done helps. I'm going to offer you a few of my articles that I've published online. I've written everything to be simple, so it's an easy read.

Now as far as toning those muscles, the work that you're doing will help, but reverse lunges would be better, and are really primarily a quadriceps exercise. Even without weights, you be much better doing squats (deeper squats hit the glutes harder) or squatting down and holding that position for a while (try that, it's HARD). Assemble all of the exercises to go from upper body to .lower body without any rest in between. The upper-lower technique will improve the cardiovascular impact by pumping blood to the different regions more frequently.
So, squats, pushups, lunges, overhead presses with anything (large books, milk jugs filled with water- a gallon of water weighs 8.3 pounds), toe raises, jumping jacks, situps, even circles with your hands while your hands are extended too either side or the front, and so on.
