Yes. However, if you eat lots before bed, then go sleep, your body does not use any of that glucose and it causes an insulin spike which in turn stores the excess as fat. fat calories are burned and cannot be absorbed, carb calories are turned into fat and then burned. People on zero carb diet eventually end up with a low bodyfat percentage since fat cannot be stored as fat. at night your body undergoes most of its healing so its smart to eat a large protein/fat meal then.
