Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
Anyone have any personal experience with HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)? I'm thinking about working it into my routine...

Intensity is the strongest predictor of beneficial adaptations to working out. I say go for it. I'd recommend checking out CrossFit. Not only do you get a free workout every day from them, but they have a lot of help videos to get you started with different lifts and movements. Even if you don't go to full CrossFit, HIIT should improve your fitness level noticeably, so give it a shot.
