Where can I get historical daily averages of foreign exchange rates between USD and Brazil Real?

I need about 1-year of daily historical data.

Well, the Real only came about in 1994, so whatever facts you get won't be that "historical," but you can check out Google Finance, which goes back to 2004 and shows a nice graph. Another really good website is X-Rates, which goes just about as far back as when the Real was made the currency of Brazil. The links are in the sources; I hope it helps!

I just need back like one year or so. However, I need the actual numbers, not just a graph. Any idea?

Did you look at the Google Finance one? When you point to any date, the value of the Real appears in the upper right corner of the graph, which seems to be what you want.

What about the second one? It doesn't seem as if you checked it yet. X-rates gives you the actual values per date, as well as the values of the Real in nearby dates.

I couldn't disagree more with the_unix_geek, this was a very helpful answer. As you can see, I even got three Best Answer votes. XE.com is an amazing site I at one point used daily for several months. It was always up to date and I was never disappointed. I'm sorry the_unix_geek didn't appreciate my brevity.
