The wikipedia citations seem to be suspiciously tabloid and personal websites. I still wonder if there are any legitimate psychological studies of this fetish, if it is real.

Objectophillia is not on some very long lists of philia's I have found that come from reputable sorces. It is also suspect because the vast majority of this family of words use Greek roots. "object" is a Latin root.
