I'm going to get a lot of weird looks from this, but Dio's "Holy Diver" is an instant classic. Dio is, by far, one of my favorite vocalists of all time. I don't take heavy metal bands seriously because the singers are always like "GRRRRURRURR FRURURGLDOPUER", but Dio has the BEST voice in metal, PERIOD.
I'll also get some VERY weird looks with this choice. Led Zeppelin's Houses of the Holy - lots of people say it's controversial, but I think it's the opposite. Innocence at its best.

Oddly enough a previous album cover form the same band and also a favorite album cover of mine was the more visually risky and aptly titled Nothing's Shocking.
I actually still have the copy of the Jane's Addiction Ritual de lo Habitual compact disc and the censored version of the cover as well but to me and it might just be me the uncensored version really sounds better :)
