I prefer to do a range of all three. I am training to increase my running speed. however walking and jogging correspond with each other. Walking and jogging the slower paced of the two still involve much needed muscle groups. Without involving these activities into your routine can decrease overall fitness.

But personally I like to run, its a goal thing..

Walk! Less stress on the joints. And I walk from my parking spot at work and carry a back pack. but it adds a mile a day walking to work from that distance. i figure anything is better than nothing!

I prefer brisk walking over jogging and running, which are harder on the joints. Just have to walk longer to get the same calorie burn as the other two.

My favorite is running (sprints are the best). This burns way more calories than jogging or walking, and if done properly in intervals (HIIT), it will continue to burn calories for hours after you finish. Also, this will help to build more muscle than jogging or walking (look at a walker's legs and they are not quite as toned as a joggers legs, and then look at a sprinter's legs. Sprinters' have extremely well muscled, well defined leg muscles). If you want to learn about HIIT, you can check out http://www.teenbodybuilding.com/justin6.htm

Definitely jog. It's because I do sprints all the time for track practice, and thus I'm sick and tired of it. With jogging, I feel a lot more relaxed and less pressured. I can also run a lot longer 'cause I'm not wasting all my energy.
