This appears in Rome, Italy. 0039 is the International country code for Italy and 06 is the code for the area of rome.

You must dial 01139 when calling from the united states. It doesn't matter that there are more or less numbers than there are in the US; other countries don't use the exact amount of numbers in all local phone numbers like the US. Some numbers have 10 digits, some have 4. I don't know why that is, it just is.

Next, you may or may not need to leave out the zero before the first 6. I forget because Italy changed the local area code rules a couple of times over the last few years.

So, if it were me, i would first dial the number like this: 01139-0640-76393.
If, it doesn't work, hang up and dial it without the zero in front of the area code; like this: 01139- 640-76393. That will do it. Good Luck!

to make an international call, you usually have to first dial 011 and then the number.

Hotelsclick.com list the number on their homepage the way Europeans are accustomed to dialing international calls: "00" + country code + number. In the US we dial "011" rather than "00" for international calls. If you dial the number: "011 39 06 4076393" you should get through, provided the number works.

Note that some online discounters will do everything possible to avoid directly handling phone calls, as their profit margin evaporates the minute a human gets involved. Some even go so far as to drop incoming calls. I don't know whether hotelsclick.com engages in these practices, but it's something to keep in mind if for some reason you find you can't get through.
