In general, are people happier in man-made urban surroundings, or happier in natural settings?

Some say that nature is a relaxing and calming atmosphere. But modern societies enjoy the benefits of man made technology, too.

What can be done to enjoy the best of "both worlds"?

What do you personally prefer? Urban activity or serene nature?

I like both. When I want to get away, I like being out in nature and relax and forget about things for a while. In the long run I like the technology that I have at home.

In general people are happy in both surroundings.I think half the population likes the city and other half likes the rural setting.
