According to the article I provided, pollution and overfishing were the main reasons for the Dolphin's extinction, and while I wouldn't call it "On Purpose," it is still just as tragic.

How many Yangtze Dolphins are left? Did people kill them on purpose?
If they killed these beautifull animals on purpose why?

Unfortunately, scientists failed to find a single Yangtze river dolphin in its natural habit, leading them to conclude that it was "functionally extinct."According to the article I provided, pollution and overfishing were the main reasons for the Dolphin's extinction, and while I wouldn't call it "On Purpose," it is still just as tragic.
