Well, it is to late to be pessimistivc and think it is too late.

So let's be optimistic and work on saving our mothership.

No it's too late. I'm sorry but you will all have to move to Mars. This will result in a land and housing bubble, but luckily AIG, Citibank, Wells Fargo, and Goldman Sachs have teamed up to offer some really groovy low interest mortgages. Water might be a problem

we are not too late to save ourselves and the larger portion of the biosphere as we see it now. the answer is in using the co2 we have suspended in the atmosphere, holding the water we are freeing from ice on the surface of the earth, and engaging both of these resources in the growth of the natural earth surface carbon cycle. Agroforestry/ symbiosis.

the use we have of the vast supply of co2 we have released is to hold it and cycle it in biology. The problem is when the co2 dissapates throughout the astmosphere rather than remaining near to the planet surface in the carboncycle - which is instrinsic in the water and oxygen cylces. If the bulk of the co2 ascends then we create a greater insulating blanket and less evaporation/ condensation cycling (which procceses the heat from the sun in a way that creates more organic productivity, which in turn increases surface water holding, oxygen, and short spectrum temperature cycling). Without the biolayer on the surface the resources move vertically, into the ground and out into space. The real solution seems to be in the relation between radiant force and semipermeable membranes - that is assuming enough gravity to create atmosphere enough to keep as a liquid. Plants are such a semipermeable membrane and they happen to gain force or mass( energy) from being exposed to radiant energy(the sun) and as well sequester water and thereby produce more co2 cycling, condensation holding, spacial
