Has anyone noticed there have been a higher than usual number of earthquakes on earth this week above magnitude 4. Wondering...

Some weeks have more small quakes than others. It doesn't mean the Big One is coming.

Worldwide, earthquakes occur at more or less random intervals, so there will be random bursts of activity and random quiet periods as well. These are normal. An increase in earthquake activity in a localized area *might* be foreshocks leading up to a larger quake, or it might just be another random cluster.
