I voted "No Best Answer," because the only one who can answer that question is Jessica Alba, and she's not here. The only other acceptable answer would use an in/direct quote from Jessica, herself, about her reasons.

could not tell you, I really liked her former hair color, I like that shade of brown, red head I am not so sure about, someone told her it looks good and she went with it, she does not strike me as being all that smart.
