I'd have to go with The Toxic Avenger. Rambo actually died in the first book, and but Stallone convinced Hollywood to spare him in the film so that they could make more movies. Rambo is fairly dependent upon weapons whereas the Toxic Avenger has superhuman strength and does just fine without them.
