She's one of essayist David Sedaris' siblings. She's also a writer, her most recent book being "I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence." (She's also a writer on "Strangers With Candy," according to the following IMDB link.)

However, she also has a fairly-extensive career in acting, (IMDB), including Shrek the Third (Cinderella); Strangers With Candy (Jerri Blank); and the next Shrek movie.
