Where can I find a Yearly list of top grossing films?

The further back the list goes the better

If you want to know the top grossing movies in the US for any given year, plug in the relevant year instead of 1953 in the URL below:

http://www.imdb.com/Sections/Years/1953/top-grossing

It's got data as far back as 1913 and as recent as 2008. Apparently "Traffic in Souls" made a whopping $430k.

If you wanted worldwide gross, I'm afraid you're out of luck. :)
