What's the name of this romantic comedy?

I think the movie is from the 90s. A couple (not young, maybe in their 40s, but still attractive) go to a tropical island and fight a lot. They decide to get a divorce, but encounter difficulties. All the hotels are booked, so they are stuck in the same place and their rooms are next to each other (actually I think they have bungalows.) The president or dictator of the country is usually dressed in military garb and they called him "El Presidente" (and he sort of plays cupid.) The couple keeps running into each other and at the end of the movie, the couple rekindle their love and don't get the divorce... what's the name of this movie? I'm sure it was a regular film, even though it aired on Lifetime or Oxygen.

And for sure, it's not: "Moon Over Parador"
