What's everyone's thoughts on Stargate Universe? One show too many or interesting new direction?

As much as I like Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, I'm not very convinced or excited about this new direction. It feels too much like BSG or Star Trek Voyager. I don't think the things that made the first two shows great will work on this new show. Then again, I was skeptical of Stargate Atlantis when it came out too, although I was very excited to see what they would do with it.

I'll wait and see how it pans out, but it doesn't look too good right now.
