LL Cool J ("Lady Loves Cool James") is still very much around and successful.

His last two albums have been:
2006, Todd Smith, reached number 6 US album charts, went Gold
2008, Exit 13, reached number 9 US album charts

LL Cool J these days is also successful as an actor. in 2008 he was in the film "the deal".

LL Cool J has also landed himself a role in the lucrative new series NCIS Los Angeles.

So LL Cool J seems as popular right now as he ever has been!
