What place does spirituality and religion have in Hollywood?
What do you think of actors who talk about their faith, or lack there of? How do you think movies and TV shape our spiritual lives? Do you think they should?
Many religious organizations are using entertainment, music bands, and high-tech "theaters" to get the message out. What do you think of this?
How much should religion and entertainment "cross over"?

Movies and television are an artform and art has always been an expression of the artist's innermost thoughts, feelings, ideals, beliefs, etc. Many people have their own beliefs and are not easily swayed, so I believe Hollywood is not really influencing much. They may introduce a few people to new and exciting spiritual concepts, but for the most part, people have a hard time changing beliefs. Ideas are easy to change, but beliefs are more deeply ingrained.

Thank you very much. I do appreciate it. I am not sure what you mean by "click in for credit." I have studied a few religions, but my main focus has been on spirituality, higher power, the universe, karma and dharma, eastern philosophies, etc. The book that got me started on all this was "The Laws of Spirit" by Dan Millman, which I read back in college about fifteen years ago. Great book! Everything I am today I credit to having read that book.
