What did you think of the movie District 9?

I don't want spoilers or major details about the movie, just an opinion. Why did you like/ dislike the movie?

I saw District 9 just a few days ago and I thought it was one the most original movies I had seen in a long time.

They used a mix of The office style documentary work mixed in with TV News style visuals to make the movie extra entertaining and realistic. It was also set in close to present day which was really cool too.

The setting in Johannesburg was a perfect location.

Here is the original short film, uploaded to YouTube three years ago, really good watch to get some background.
