Check your On Demand, that's where I found it. I do not have HBO, but there is a "Premium" section on the On Demand menu. I'm guessing that even with basic cable, On Demand still works. (Note that I have Verizon FIOS, not Comcast, but On Demand is not specific to Verizon).

Only HBO had the rights to broadcast the concert. I haven't heard anything about a DVD yet but maybe they'll release one.
Source(s):
I heard it on CNN. They explained that only their partner network HBO can broadcast it.

Sounds like your local cable company didn't flip the right switches to allow you to view HBO like they were suppose to. I'm sure there will be a DVD or a way to re-watch the concert in the near future... keep an eye on HBOs website

In most areas you needed to have Digital Cable to see the concert and on Comcast it was only the original live airing that was free. HBO has made a provision to allow you to go to www.hbo.com and stream the concert for the time being (it isn't stated how long this will continue). Enjoy the show!

HBO "invited" all the cable companies to run the show for free, but it couldn't compel them to make it free.  Some may have had technical problems, others may have had political differences and not wanted to do anything that would promote President-Elect Obama
