I think it was shameless play for the big bucks of the "other" demographic he appeals to, beyond HIP HOP. Sure lots of people enjoyed it and didn't mind, and even are hungry for every little bit of him they can get, but come on, really? Ican't remember when we all became a "market" but that was when Art became "Product" and Artist became "Corporation". Sad but true....

On the Other hand.. I love Eminem and the Family Guy, so who am I to talk?? lol...
