That's easy. The 4th film of the F&tF franchise, Fast & Furious, actually takes place chronologically before the events of Tokyo Drift.
During F&F Han's chillin with Dominic's crew in the Dominican Republic. After the heist and when the heat starts coming down on their crew, Han states that he's thinking of moving to Tokyo.
----quote----
Sung Kang as Han Lue: One of Dominic's crew in the Dominican Republic who appeared in this film's timeline sequel, Tokyo Drift. Han talks about moving to Tokyo when the heat comes down. He says to Dom, "Heard they're doing some crazy s--t in Tokyo."

Also, at the end of Tokyo drift, Vin Deisel (sorry, I don't know his character's name) rolls up to Shawn and states he knew Han.
Such a good series!
