Nah, Is there really an envelope to push, or even a limit as to how far is too far? I personally don't think so. For a specific group of people, or even a specific year, there is a limit, but I think everytime someone goes too far, we end up not going back to the place we were at before.
At one point, Male nudity in a rated "R" film didn't happen very often, but now a lot of rated "R" films have male nudity, along with female nudity.
If a movie that is rated "R" today, was released 30 years ago, it would blow people's minds, and that movie would be inappropriate, and possibly be rated X or higher (which that rating does not exist now).
In 30 years, the same will probably apply. We are constantly maturing, and going further and further for society.
Other examples of people going "too far" but now are generally accepted:
Tom Green
Johnny Knoxville
(The whole Jackass crew)
