James bond movie, 007 scooba dive with a small breathing device. Is it possible? And How do the rocks move in Death Valley dessert? Thanks.

In the movie James Bond had a device about the size of small maglight flashlight and he was breathing with it under water. In Death Valley desert the rock appently move in different directions cause you clearly see the trails on the ground and there is no scientific answer
