Matthewwh- I appreciate your response but just because someone rapes another person does not make that other person gay. Orientation and gender identity are well established at la very young age.

I'm happy for her. I've known plenty of folks who had to struggle with their orientation because of religious beliefs or fear of how their family would respond. I've also known folks who experienced little resistance from friends and family.
