Is Nick Cannon Snoop Dogg's cousin?

On Wild n' Out, Snoop Dogg called Nick Cannon his cousin, is this true or just a figure of speech?

They are not related. This is a term of speech that is frequently used to indicate a closeness of friends.

Although, if you go back far enough I am sure they are 'cousins' of a sort as we all are really related. :)

• Actually, snoop called him "nephew". which snoop uses as a general term.
