He used to have a show on CNN called Crossfire, then Jon Stewart stepped on the set and mocked his type of punditry, defeated Tucker lost his job.

He's loomed as a contributor and fill in host since, but his ability to lower the intelligence of any conversation continues... sounds like he'll fit right in a Fox.

Here is a clip that I remember him from, this is around 2003ish and he's interviewing a Canadian Politician, Tucker I believe is angry because we didnt join the war in Iraq, so he decides to insult Canada. (his clip starts at around 2:11, enjoy Ann Coulter insulting Canada beforhand)

/it's rare that news outlets in countries other then America insult Canada

Tucker has been on several television news programs over the years. I have heard him speak at events in the past, and was very impressed with his knowledge and presentation style. His Wikipedia page has a nice summary, portions of which are shown here...

Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson (born May 16, 1969) is an American libertarian conservative political news correspondent and commentator.

Recently, he was MSNBC's Senior Campaign Correspondent and is a senior fellow for the libertarian think tank the Cato Institute.

He formerly co-hosted CNN's Crossfire and MSNBC's Tucker. He appeared regularly on Verdict with Dan Abrams as a panelist in political discussions.
