Is Darby and Buster just the younger versions of Penny and Bolt?

Darby and Buster are from the Disney Playhouse animation called "My Friends Tigger & Pooh" who have a striking resemblance to Penny and Bolt from the Disney movie Bolt. Is there any details or persona thoughts on why these two groups of characters are so similar, especially since they gave from the same company?

Some quick research showed that the younger Penny is voiced by the same person that did the voice for Darby, Chloe Moretz

I think it's definitely was intentional. Seems Disney likes to milk everything dry. Bolt didn't live to to Disney's standards in the box office compared to other movies (making only $26,223,128 compared to The Lion King's $40,888,194 in their respective opening weekends.) It's all about the money and what Disney believes their potential earnings may be.

• Very good insight, but I think this is the highest grossing disney movie (without the pixar label) in a very long time... they have to rebuild the brand after a series of really crappy movies.
