He broke Cosmo Renfro's glasses and used on of the arms (or earpieces) later on in the movie Cosmo can be seen wearing glasses that had been taped together.

Here's a quote from the scene (note: the source confuses Royce and Sheridan)

I believe that was Robert Downey Junior's character and not Wesley Snipes character.

You're right, Royce was Robert Downey Jr's character. However, it is an accurate quote of my source. My source got the characters mixed up. Sorry for that. I've edited my answer to note that the sources made an error in confusing the two characters. hope that helps.
