I'd wish him free as my first wish. I have everything I desire, including one thing he can't manage, my loving wife. So no wishes here, apart from wishing him a very pleasant life as a free Genie.

wish #1: i would wish for a magic bag that when i said an amount of money out loud i would be able to pull that much out of the bag

wish #2: to be able to control my aging....if i wanted to get old i can...if i wanted to become young again i can do that as well.

wish#3: my final wish would be to have family and friends live as long as they want....so i wouldn't be alone and i wouldn't morn anyone's death

Okay. My one and only wish would be to set the Genie free.
I would ask the Genie to stay a while and maybe we could sing a few songs or dance a bit. (I would be happy to hang out with Robin Williams too)

My goal here would be to ask the genie to teach me how to be a Genie.
That way I would not only have wishes for myself, but also know how it feels to grant wishes to others. That must feel great!

WISH #1 - I would wish for the immortality of myself and my family, at our own pleasures so that we may become mortal again at our own choosing.

WISH #2 - I would wish for replenishing wealth
(replenishing in case I run into any governmental issues during the millennia of my lifetime - don't want my cash confiscated!)

WISH #3 - I would wish for the Genie's freedom

Why didn't I wish for world peace, or an end to suffering or hunger? Because if you knock down one enemy of mankind, another will take its place. Humans are beasts of suffering. Instead, I could use my wealth from WISH #2 to help implement changes around the globe - funding cancer research, funding vaccines for third-world countries, sheltering suffering animals, sending food to starving people, and manipulating world political issues for the most peaceful outcome (hey, money is powerful and can grease a lot of wheels!).

And WISH #3 is because it would be the right thing to do. Karma has a price, baby. And this price is one wish. Plus maybe he knows some other genies in need of freeing...I'm just sayin'...

Well... in the unlikely event that I had to do this for real... I'd probably take a deep breath, grit my teeth, and make wishes for the world, and not just for me.

I would also need a whiteboard to think them through first, and some people to bounce ideas off. A Mahalo Think Tank full of people maybe?

I mean I could wish for all of the CO2 that's been released into the atmosphere in the last 100 years to be returned into the ground whence it came as oil, gas and coal. Would that be a good idea? I don't know. Needs some thought. A lot of thought probably. :)

But you don't want to know about things like that do you?

I mean a genie question should be fun, fun. fun!

So here are my fun three wishes....

1) A TARDIS please.

A *what* you ask? It's a handy little space-and-time ship. Also enormously bigger on the inside than the outside. Make sure it's a fully functioning one, and that I can pilot it please Genie.

3) The ability to have any fictional character I choose come to life and be my companion on my TARDIS journeys. (Also the ability to return them to fiction-dom as needed.)

And which characters would I choose? The beauty of it is, I don't have to be selective. It could be Sherlock Holmes one day, and Buffy the next. Or both at the same time. Not a bad team to have perhaps.

Fortunately, the genie from Disney's Aladdin, while silly, doesn't purposefully screw up your wishes. So, I'd feel comfortable wishing from him.

If limited to wishes for me and my lived ones:

1. Long life and good health for all my loved ones.
2. To be rich enough that my family and I would never have to worry about money again, and so that I would have money to donate to important causes.

Damn, that's only two. The thing is, those would cover everything without infringing on anyone's free will.

If limited to wishes that would help humanity:

1. For the world to work together for zero population growth, as our booming population is having a negative effect on the world.
2. For a cure to be found that is the remedy to all diseases, both physical and mental.
3. For people all over the world to stop living in superstition.

1 - Always find in my pocket or on my plastic the prcise amount of any bill I ger or payment I have to do.

2 - Make peace a permanent background of Mid-East so that THEY can find some long-forgotten and really deserved peace and ALL OTHERS cans deal with other matters.

3 - Make the Genie able to fulfill all my other future wishes, not just a stupid total of 3.
