I haven't seen it personally. But when I want to see how good a movie is, I go to Yahoo Movies, at http://movies.yahoo.com
I don't generally trust any particular movie critic. I mean, if one person likes the movie, that doesn't mean that I'm going to like it or dislike it. But Yahoo takes an average of a dozen critics' scores, as well as all the thousands of users who have watched it and rated it (the users nearly always rate it better than the critics do, in my experience).
Here is the page for Angels and Demons:
http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809951159/info
The users rate the movie a B (in 3,158 ratings currently) but the critics have it down as a C+ (not too great, but from what I remember, not that different from the Da Vinci Code, so if you liked that, you may just like this as well).
And yes, looking back at the Da Vinci Code's ratings, the critics graded it C+ and users gave it a B-. So there you are.
