How many films can you watch on an iPod Touch?

Let's say each film is 90 minutes long.

The film will be about 1.5 GB, so if your iPod Touch is 8 GB, then you can watch 6 movies, as long as you have not filled your iPod Touch up with more music.

According to Apple's specs, the iPod Touch holds up to 10 hours (for 8 GB), 20 (for 16 GB) hours, or 40 (for 32 GB) hours of video.

Agree with easyeboy regarding memory space, but there's also battery to consider.

Apple says that the battery lasts for 5 hours of continuous video playback on the first gen, or 6 on the second gen.
