They appear to be cell phone pictures. No source was released as far as I can tell. They could have been hacked if they were on a phone; however, it's just as likely she released them herself for the publicity.

Sources are generally protected so unless it was someone close to her it's unlikely we will ever know the source. If it was somebody close they will likely be fired and a statement made to ruin them.
