It's been quite a few years since I've seen "Sneakers", and is one of the best as far as hacking is concerned.

There were quite a few very skilled hackers in the movie
"Martin Brice (Robert Redford), a hacker, has kept to his assumed name of Martin Bishop after nearly avoiding capture for hacking US government computers in 1969, a fate that had his friend Cosmo (Ben Kingsley) didn't escape. In the present, Martin runs a tiger team of "security specialists" that use unorthodox methods of testing physical and electronic security for companies in San Francisco: Donald Crease (Sidney Poitier), a former CIA agent and a high-strung family man; "Mother" (Dan Aykroyd), a conspiracy theorist with unsurpassed technical skills and dexterity; Carl Arbogast (River Phoenix), a young genius; and Erwin 'Whistler' Emory (David Strathairn), a blind man with superb hearing. . ."

Trinity is by far the sexiest hacker I can think of... and I'm a girl!
If it wasn't for Trinity's ability to hack into the Matrix, they would never have found Neo in the first place.
I guess before Neo found the Matrix he was only making a side income by hacking into a pretend part of the 'made up' internet.
(kind of creepy when you think about it...)

David played by Matthew Broderick from the eighties movie War Games. Global Thermonuclear War was something I wanted to play at the time and when this movie came out and I watched it movie over and over and tried to recreate this in *basic* on my TRS-80 Model 1 WOPR!

By later seasons all she has to do his hold her hand near a networked device and she can jack into the system with her mind. No repetitive motion injuries, tedious typing or slow brute forcing of passwords. And unlike River she actually CAN kill you with her brain, which is a sort of biometaphysical hacking if you think about it.
