As close as I can tell CBS owns a part of Medium. Medium was created by Glenn Gordon Caron and is produced by Picturemaker Productions and Grammnet Productions in association with CBS Paramount Television. CBS Studios produced Medium for broadcast on NBC. The CBS network is owned by the same parent company as CBS Studios.

Complicated isn't it?
