Does anyone know if Andrew Dice Clay has ever won a Nobel Prize? I've been wondering. I Googled "did he or not" but that wasn't helpful.

If you mean the actor and comedian Andrew Dice Clay who acted on The Day the Laughter Died, then the answer is no. He hasn't won an Nobel Prize.

Below is a list of Nobel Prize winners. You can check if you wish.

The link below has all the Laureat winners listed by year, he's not on there.  The 2009 winners have not yet been announced, they won't be available until at earliest, Oct 2009.

While some of his work is definitely commendable and worth of recognition by the Nobel committee, he has never won a Nobel Prize or has been recognized by the Nobel Commitee in any way.

Currently as close as he gets to something with his name and Nobel, is his movie Ford Fairlane and some of his other work is available at Barnes and Nobles. (ok, it worked in my head- but I am pre-coffee this morning..)

However, I felt his poem "Hickory Dickory Dock" was worthy of the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry, but despite my many letters to the Pulitzer commitee, he has not been nominated yet.. Maybe next year.

He probably wouldn't be recognized by the Nobel committee if he showed up at their meeting wearing a name tag.
