Does anyone know if Amy Brenneman's character Violet Turner dies? Will she return in Season 3?

According to wikipedia "In the season 2 finale Violet is attacked in her home by an ex patient (Katie) who is convinced that Violet has her baby. Katie blames Violet for her own unsucessful pregnancy and is determined to hold Violet hostage until she gives her the baby. Violet is drugged and Katie begins to follow internet instructions for a C-Section claiming she can't wait for a normal delivery since she knows she'll be arrested"

Everything I've read online doesn't hint at the fact that she'll die. And I haven't seen any information from ABC suggesting someone would killed off or fired.
